A major drugstore chain needed new displays for a natural cosmetics product launch. Requirements: consistent look across all stores, durability, tool-free assembly by store staff, delivery within 4 weeks.

Brief & Concept
Client meeting, requirements analysis, store visit. Developed 3 visual concepts. Client selected modular LED-backlit design.
Design & Prototype
Detailed CAD design, material selection (opal acrylic 5mm, clear acrylic 8mm, LED strips). Prototype production and testing. Client approval.
Mass Production
Full-scale manufacturing. Parallel laser cutting (3 machines), CNC milling of structural parts, LED assembly. Quality check every 50 units.
Packaging & Labeling
Individual packaging with assembly instructions. Store address labels with tracking barcodes. Completeness verification.
Logistics & Delivery
Shipment to 16 regional hubs, then local distribution. Full shipment tracking. Phone support for assembly staff.
Technical Solutions
Modular Construction
The display consisted of 7 components that connect without tools using a snap-fit and slot system. Store staff needed an average of 5 minutes for assembly, no tools required.
LED Illumination
4000K LED strips (neutral white) with 12V power supply. Opal acrylic diffuser ensures even product illumination with no visible hot spots.
Materials
- Front: 5mm opal acrylic (light diffusion)
- Shelves: 8mm clear acrylic (load capacity)
- Frame: 10mm black acrylic (stability)
- Graphics: UV direct print on acrylic
