Poliwęglan PC — gdy osłona może być uderzona wiórami, narzędziem lub elementem (wytrzymałość uderzeniowa ~200× większa od PMMA). PMMA — gdy osłona ma być only dekoracyjna lub gdy ważna is przejrzystość optyczna i brak rys. Standardem dla CNC, frezarek i tokarek is poliwęglan 6-8 mm.

Czy osłona wytrzymuje emulsję chłodzącą?

PMMA matowieje od emulsji oleisto-wodnej po 5-8 latach (mikropęknięcia, crazing). Poliwęglan — odporny dłużej (10-15 lat). Dla osłon w bezpośredaysm kontakcie z chłodziwem zawsze poliwęglan PC. Dla osłon zewnętrznych (poza strefą chłodziwa) — PMMA is sufficient.

Hową grubość osłony do frezarki/tokarki?

Frezarki małe (3 osie, do 600×400): PC 4-6 mm. Frezarki średayse (4-5 osi, do 1200×800): PC 6-8 mm. Tokarki: PC 6 mm + rama aluminiowa (chronią przed wiórami obrotowymi). Lasery CO2: PMMA pomarańczowa 6 mm (filtruje 10.6 µm) lub PC z folią UV-blocking.

Czy obudowa redukuje hałas maszyny?

Acrylic 8 mm + uszczelka EPDM redukuje hałas o ~15-20 dB. Dla wymagań akustycznych (CNC 90+ dB do <70 dB) — sandwtheir acrylic 5 mm + pianka akustyczna 20 mm + acrylic 5 mm (redukcja 25-30 dB). Specyfikacja indywidualna w zależności od stanowiska.

Czy osłony są atestowane BHP?

PMMA (acrylic) czy polycarbonate (PC) do guards CNC?

Polycarbonate PC — when the guard can be hit by shavings, tools or parts (impact resistance ~200× greater than PMMA). PMMA — when the guard is only decorative or when optical transparency and scratch-free surface are important. The standard for CNC, routers and lathes is polycarbonate 6-8 mm.

Does the guard withstand cooling emulsion?

PMMA becomes cloudy from oil-water emulsion after 5-8 years (micro-cracks, crazing). Polycarbonate — resistant longer (10-15 years). For guards in direct contact with coolant always polycarbonate PC. For external guards (outside coolant zone) — PMMA is sufficient.

What thickness guards for router/lathe?

Small routers (3 axes, up to 600×400): PC 4-6 mm. Medium routers (4-5 axes, up to 1200×800): PC 6-8 mm. Lathes: PC 6 mm + aluminum frame (protects against rotating shavings). CO2 lasers: orange PMMA 6 mm (filters 10.6 µm) or PC with UV-blocking film.

Czy montujecie zawiasy, zamki, klamki?

Yes — aluminum technical hinges (Sugatsune, Häfele), key locks (Securemme), ergonomic handles. For service doors (opened daily) — hinges with dampers (Soft-close). We can deliver with pre-drilled holes for specific mounting.

Does the enclosure reduce machine noise?

Acrylic 8 mm + EPDM seal reduces noise by ~15-20 dB. For acoustic requirements (CNC 90+ dB to <70 dB) — sandwich acrylic 5 mm + acoustic foam 20 mm + acrylic 5 mm (reduction 25-30 dB). Individual specification depending on workstation.

Are guards certified for workplace safety?

Acrylic PMMA and PC have REACH/RoHS certificate. For workplace safety guards (CE, machinery directive 2006/42/EC) — polycarbonate certificate with impact resistance IK08-IK10 on request. Technical documentation for every order.
