Enclosures and guards — our B2B specialty. We manufacture for industrial (CNC machines, production lines, automation), electrical (control cabinets, controllers, HMI panels), medical (diagnostic devices, laboratory equipment), and OEM (50-500 piece runs). In acrylic (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC) UL94 V-0 rated, PET-G, HDPE. CNC tolerance ±0.05 mm.

Enclosures and guards — all industry types

From prototype to production runs. We select material based on requirements: impact resistance, temperature, chemical exposure, fire codes.

CE-compliant machine guards

EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and EN ISO 14120 compliant. Polycarbonate 5-20 mm — 200× stronger than glass, self-extinguishing. For mills, lathes, presses, packaging lines. Vents, locks, safety switches.

Medical device enclosures

Smooth surfaces, easy disinfection (alcohol, chloramines). Plasticizer-free PMMA or PC. Rounded edges, IP54+. For diagnostic devices, laboratory equipment, clinical workstations.

Electronics and controller enclosures

Transparent or frosted (hide PCB). Service openings, ventilation, DIN-rail or screw mounting. IP65 rated. For PLCs, power supplies, IoT devices, home and industrial automation.

Production line guards

Large format 2000×3100 mm, modular assembly. PC resistant to impact, oil, coolant spray. Inspection windows, air exchange systems. Food, pharma, automotive.

Control cabinet covers

Transparent — visual check without opening. Lock, EPDM gasket (IP65). CNC-cut to fit specific cabinet from technical drawings. Electricians, automation, industrial service.

HMI front plates

CNC-milled openings for buttons, displays, emergency stops. Tolerance ±0.05 mm. Laser-engraved labels. Serial production (50-500 pcs) for OEM machine and equipment manufacturers.

Office and antiviral partitions

Acrylic partitions for open-space offices, receptions, checkout counters. Clear acrylic 5-10 mm, steel or wooden bases. Heights 60-180 cm. On-site installation on request.

OEM enclosures (production runs)

For equipment manufacturers — runs of 50-5000 pcs from single design. Repeatability ±0.05 mm. UV bonding (invisible joints), logo engraving, serial numbers. 10-15 day lead time.

Acrylic or polycarbonate (PC) — which material?

Material choice depends on mechanical risk, temperature, and standards compliance. Key differences:

Recommendation: For CE-compliant machine guards and industrial applications, always polycarbonate (PC). For indoor enclosures (electronics, display, office) — acrylic is cheaper and looks better. For medical enclosures, both work — we select based on sterilization requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials are best for machine guards?
Polycarbonate offers the best impact resistance (250x stronger than glass). Acrylic provides superior optical clarity. PET-G is food-safe for food processing applications.
What tolerances can you achieve?
Our Kimla CNC routers achieve +/-0.05mm tolerance for precision parts. Laser cutting provides +/-0.5mm precision for standard applications.
Can you add threaded inserts and mounting holes?
Yes, we offer CNC threading (M3-M12), brass heat-set inserts, and precision drilling for all mounting requirements. Countersunk and counterbored holes are also available.
Do you provide CAD drawings?
Yes, we work with DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES, and PDF formats. We can also create production drawings from your specifications or sketches.
What is the maximum thickness you can machine?
We machine materials up to 50mm thick on our Kimla BPF CNC routers with full 3D contouring capability.
How much do technical enclosures cost?
Starting from €30 for standard enclosures. IP-rated custom enclosures from €80. We provide a quote within 24 hours.
What IP ratings can you achieve?
We manufacture enclosures to IP54, IP65, and IP67 specifications using appropriate sealing and material combinations.
Do you ship enclosures internationally?
Yes, EU-wide delivery via DPD, DHL, and GLS. Worldwide shipping available on request. All products are carefully packaged.
What material for industrial machine enclosures?

For industrial machine guards (CE compliant, Machinery Directive) we always recommend polycarbonate (PC). It's 200× more impact-resistant than glass, self-extinguishing UL94 V-0 rated, works at -40°C to +120°C. Standard guards use 5-10 mm, heavy impact machines (presses, hammers) 15-20 mm. Acrylic only where there's no impact risk.

Do you manufacture medical device enclosures?

Yes — medical device enclosures are our specialty. We use plasticizer-free acrylic or PC (USP Class VI compatible), smooth surfaces, rounded edges for easy disinfection (alcohol, chloramines, NaClO). IP54+ rating, passive ventilation. We design for diagnostic equipment manufacturers, laboratory instruments, clinical workstations. We work with your CAD drawings or help develop the design.

Polycarbonate vs acrylic enclosures — when to choose which?

Choose polycarbonate (PC) for: CE machine guards (Machinery Directive), impact resistance (factories, construction sites, schools), high temperatures (up to +120°C), self-extinguishing material (UL94 V-0), chemical resistance (oils, acids). Choose acrylic (PMMA) for: electronics and office equipment enclosures, best transparency (92%), indoor housings without impact risk, better aesthetics (acrylic doesn't yellow, polishes better). PC costs ~30% more.

Do you produce enclosures in production runs (50-5000 pcs)?

Yes — production runs are core to our B2B business. For equipment manufacturers (OEM) we produce runs of 50-5000 units from a single design. Production repeatability ±0.05 mm via CNC. Standard options: UV bonding (invisible joints), logo and serial number engraving, milling for brass inserts. Lead times: prototype 2-3 days, run 50-500 pcs 10-15 days, 500-5000 pcs 3-4 weeks. Unit prices drop significantly for volume — request a quote.

What standards and certifications do your guards meet?

Materials: REACH, RoHS, ISO 9001. Polycarbonate: UL94 V-0 (self-extinguishing), class B-s1,d0 (EN 13501-1), meets EN ISO 14120 (machine guards). Acrylic: DIN 4102 B2, euroclass E-s1. For medical devices — USP Class VI (plasticizer-free). CE machine guards designed per Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Material documentation provided on request — declarations of conformity, certificates, material safety data sheets.
