How long does it take to make a custom display case for Poznań?
Standard lead time is 10 business days. For display cases with LED, locks or custom dimensions the lead time may extend to 14 days. Delivery to Poznań: 2 days.
Clear or milky acrylic for display cases?
Clear (transparent) — when you want to show the exhibit from every side (museum, collectible, exhibition display cases). Milky (opal) — when the display case should glow from inside (LED, edge-lit) or when the display is from one side. Black or white — neutral background for exhibits (contrast).
Does the display case have LED lighting?
Yes — we install 12V LED in the lid of the display case (lighting from above, best for sculptures and figurines), in side panels (edge-lit effect) or in the base. Available colors: 3000K (warm), 4000K (neutral, most accurate), 6000K (cool, highlights metallic/chrome).
Does the display case protect exhibits from UV?
By default no — we use clear acrylic. On request we order GS cast acrylic with 99% UV filter (blocks fading of pigments, lacquer, wood, fabrics). We recommend it for exhibits of historical, artistic or collectible value (Citadel, Hot Toys, coins, books, stamps).
Can the display case be locked with a key?
Yes — magnetic locks (invisible, opened from inside), cylinder locks with key (furniture standard), locks with insurance certificate Securemme (for collections worth 50k+ PLN). Doors — hinged, sliding or tilting upwards.
How to protect exhibits from moisture in the display case?
A closed display case protects against dust (95%) and moisture (95%). For demanding exhibits (wood, fabrics, paper) we add silica gel in the base (1 sachet for 6 months) or micro-ventilation with humidity sensor (premium museum display cases).
