What types of LED lightboxes do you manufacture?

We produce single-sided and double-sided lightboxes, slim edge-lit panels, deep-box backlit signs, and free-standing illuminated totems. Sizes range from small indoor units (A4) to large outdoor installations exceeding 3 metres.

What materials are used for the face panel?

Standard face panels use opal (milky white) cast acrylic in 3-5mm thickness for even light diffusion. For outdoor signs, we also offer polycarbonate for higher impact resistance. Both materials are available with UV stabilisation.

Are your lightboxes suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. Our outdoor lightboxes feature IP65-rated LED modules, UV-stable acrylic panels, powder-coated aluminium frames, and sealed construction to withstand rain, snow, and temperature extremes from -30C to +60C.

What is the expected LED lifespan?

Our LED modules have a rated lifespan of 50,000-80,000 hours (approximately 6-9 years of continuous operation). They maintain over 70% of initial brightness throughout their rated life.

Can you produce 3D channel letters?

Yes. We manufacture front-lit, back-lit (halo), and combination channel letters from acrylic and metal. Letters can be individually mounted or assembled on a backing panel.

What LED colour temperatures are available?

Standard options are warm white (3000K), neutral white (4000K), and cool white (6500K). RGB colour-changing modules and single-colour options (red, green, blue) are also available.

LED lightbox manufacturing

PlexiSystem manufactures custom LED lightboxes and illuminated signage for retail chains, property developers, and signage companies across Europe. Our in-house production covers the complete process: CNC cutting of acrylic panels, aluminium frame fabrication, LED module assembly, electrical wiring, and quality testing.

We use Samsung and Osram LED modules rated for 50,000+ hours of operation. All outdoor products are sealed to IP65 standard and use UV-stabilised acrylic to prevent yellowing. We supply individual signs or manage full rollout programmes with consistent quality across hundreds of units.
