What acrylic thickness should I choose for displays?
Thickness depends on the application. For guards and display stands most often 3-5 mm, for display cases and shelves 5-8 mm, for CNC machine guards 8-10 mm. We will advise you during quoting.
How many days to complete an order for Warsaw?
Standard lead time is 10 business days for typical orders. For larger quantities or custom operations we agree the deadline individually. Delivery to Warsaw takes 2 days.
Can I collect the order in person?
Yes, our workshop is located in Nowy Dwor Wejherowski near Wejherowo (Pomerania region). Personal pickup by prior arrangement — 444 km from Warsaw.
Do you handle retail orders or only wholesale?
We handle both. Single cut-to-size pieces (e.g. a shelf, guard or sheet) are our everyday work. Larger runs (50+ pcs.) are quoted with a discount.
In what format should I send the design?
Preferably DXF or PDF with dimensions. We also accept a photo with a scale or a sketch. If you don't have a design — describe it in text and give the dimensions, and we will advise you.
Can I order acrylic with UV print?
Yes — we print directly onto acrylic (CMYK + white). Minimum 1 EUR net/pc. For opaque acrylic (white, black, coloured) we print only on the visible side — a print on the back would not be visible.
Does acrylic scratch?
Yes — PMMA has a hardness of about 95-105 MPa (Hv) and scratches easily on sharp edges and grit. That is why we deliver it with protective film on both sides (removed only after assembly). Light scratches can be polished out with Acrifix paste or a polishing wheel.
What acrylic colours do you keep in regular stock?
Clear, milky (opal), opaque white, black, smoke, mirror (silver/gold), translucent colours (red, blue, yellow, green, orange). Fluorescent (edge-glow) and satin-effect acrylics are also available. Most colours are in stock — quote in 24h.
How heat-resistant is acrylic?
PMMA: working range -40°C to +80°C (without deformation). Above 80°C it starts to deform; thermoforming takes place at 150-170°C. For higher-temperature applications (e.g. guards near a griddle, lamps with high heat) we use PC polycarbonate — it withstands up to 130°C.
