How long does a custom display case for Warsaw take?
The standard lead time is 10 business days. For display cases with LED, locks or custom dimensions the lead time may extend to 14 days. Delivery to Warsaw: 2 days.
Clear or milky acrylic for a display case?
Clear (transparent) — when you want to show the exhibit from every side (museum-grade cases, collectible cases, exhibitions). Milky (opal) — when the case is meant to glow from inside (LED, edge-lit) or when the display is viewed from one side. Black or white — as a background for the exhibits (contrast).
Can a display case have LED lighting?
Yes — we fit 12V LED in the case lid (top lighting, best for sculptures and figurines), in the side panels (edge-lit effect) or in the base. Available colour temperatures: 3000K (warm), 4000K (neutral, most true-to-life), 6000K (cool, brings out metallic/chrome).
Does a display case protect exhibits from UV?
By default no — we use clear acrylic. On request we order GS cast acrylic with a 99% UV filter (it prevents fading of pigments, varnish, wood and fabrics). We recommend it for exhibits of historical, artistic or collectible value (Citadel, Hot Toys, coins, books, stamps).
Can a display case be locked with a key?
Yes — magnetic locks (invisible, opened from inside), cylinder key locks (furniture standard), and insurance-rated Securemme locks (for collections worth 50k+ PLN). Doors — hinged, sliding or top-opening.
How to protect exhibits from moisture in a display case?
A closed display case protects against dust (95%) and moisture (95%). For demanding exhibits (wood, fabrics, paper) we add silica gel in the base (1 sachet per 6 months) or micro-ventilation with a humidity sensor (premium museum-grade cases).
