How long does a custom display case for Wrocław take?
Standard lead time is 10 business days. For display cases with LED, locks or custom dimensions it can extend to 14 days. Delivery to Wrocław: 2 days.
Clear or milky acrylic for display cases?
Clear (transparent) — when you want to show the exhibit from every side (museum cases, collectibles, exhibitions). Milky (opal) — when the case is to glow from the inside (LED, edge-lit) or when it is displayed from one side. Black or white — a contrasting background for the exhibits.
Can the display case have LED lighting?
Yes — we fit 12V LED in the case lid (top lighting, best for sculptures and figures), in the side panels (edge-lit effect) or in the base. Available colour temperatures: 3000K (warm), 4000K (neutral, most faithful), 6000K (cold, brings out metallic/chrome).
Does the display case protect exhibits from UV?
Not by default — we use clear acrylic. On request we order GS cast acrylic with a 99% UV filter (blocks fading of pigments, varnish, wood and fabrics). Recommended for exhibits of historical, painted or collectible value (Citadel, Hot Toys, coins, books, stamps).
Can the display case be locked with a key?
Yes — magnetic locks (hidden, opened from the inside), cylinder key locks (furniture standard), insurance-rated Securemme locks (for collections worth 50k+ PLN). Doors — hinged, sliding or top-opening.
How to protect exhibits from humidity inside a display case?
A closed display case protects against dust (95%) and humidity (95%). For demanding exhibits (wood, fabrics, paper) we add silica gel in the base (1 sachet every 6 months) or micro-ventilation with a humidity sensor (premium museum cases).
